I have a Muncie M-20 from a Coevette in mu '84 C-10
I am running a 3.73 diff
What speedo gear do I need???

What speedo gear do I need???
It's not that easy. It will depend on tire size as well. If you are running close to the size tires that came on the Corvette then order gears for a Vette with a 3.73. Otherwise there are online calculators to tell you what gear you need.

There are a lot more of gear choices for automatic transmission driven gear. Manual trans, many times will use a gear reducer from the drive on the trans to the cable to match the numbers. So you might need a ratio adapter.

Can the calibration of the speedo in an electronic dash be programmed??

There are a lot more of gear choices for automatic transmission driven gear. Manual trans, many times will use a gear reducer from the drive on the trans to the cable to match the numbers. So you might need a ratio adapter.
Here's a little blast from the past. We used to use 5/8th reduction adapter so the kph scale was now the mph scale on the old 85 mph speedos.

Driven gears in Muncie M20/21/22 are color coded. Probably 5 or 6 different tooth count. Then there are a least 2 different toothed drive gears. The TCI website has a calculator to find the closest driven gear

Use gps speed on google maps while your driving and see if its close with the gear you have!
