Should I Replace or Restore

Should I just replace the whole front suspension or just restore and replace with new bushings? Also should just replace the brakes also since I got all new brake parts to go inside the drum or restore the old drum if it can be reused. I'm talking about rust removal, purple power deruster, then painting on all parts. I would use a paint/rust stripper wire brush on a angle grinder. This is on a 67 F100 2wd.

Why? Sometimes buying replacement parts isnt any better than restoring whats already there cause of cheap quality of parts now days.

I would try doing the electrolysis on that crap, just one piece at a time.

any wear items like bushings, hoses, brake parts should be replaced, the other stuff clean it up and reuse them

I would do neither. I would upgrade to something more modern with disk brakes. But that's just me!

Thats what I'm leading towards to doing. Cleanup, purple power deruct, and paint. Then just replace the bushings, king pin set, etc.

Thats a later project after get this truck on the road again.

I would consider selling it but I think no one would buy a hard to find ford truck $2000 in pieces.
