I got my hands on an 85 k5 blazer. Comes with a 4 speed/205 a 10 bolt front and a semi float rear. Im basically trying to throw this thing together to be a fun weekend beater. I wanna be able to drive it around on the weekends but still be fairly capable in the mud. Ive got a stock bottom end 350 with a cam, and some off brand 37's with a 6 inch lift. Basically im asking if anyone has had good or bad luck welding a semi float. Being that it is a c-clip axle im wondering if there are more issues with this than welding a full float?
