Its missing a few bits, most importantly the part that mounts to the tailgate itself so I have to figure out how to fab something up so it will shut.

Well guys I wound up hauling that 86 k5 off early yesterday but I can't complain because it was one of the best scrap runs ever.
I found a pile of axles.
One strange one is the one on top.
Looks like a Dana 44 or 30 but it was 6 lug and the leaf springs were under the axle? Never Seen that one before. Any one know about it?
But can you find the hidden gold in the pile?

thought this was cool, a 3500hd with 14b disc brakes, Im pretty sure that's the first 14b to have disc brakes, truck was HAD a nv4500
