thanks guys! the truck is very solid. I'm going to leave the patina and go for a pro-touring look. it is getting measured for a prototype 4 link rear right now.

You seem to be a bit down about it being an 81 instead of a 71. I'm sure you can find someone here happy to take it off your hands if you find the right deal on a 71 in the future. I think you'll be happy with this one though. Good Luck with it. You're welcome to fire up a build and progress tracking thread about the truck in the Under Construction section. Do keep in mind though, we like our truck porn and you might get hounded for pics quite often.
