While checking on power to my non working tail lights a see this what looks like spare tire light. I assume it comes on with headlight switch when turning on the dome light?

License plate holder with light. Supposed to come on with the headlight switch

OMG. You are right. I didn’t even notice the plate holder. I even purchased new LP lights as there were none in the bumper when I bought it. ‍Must be for the bumper delete version.

Most if not all these trucks came without bumpers from factory. Dealers put them on depending on which bumper the customer wanted

Yeah I forgot all about that, lol. May have to customize it since I now have lights in the bumper.
