Right valve cover vent hose

The right valve cover has vent hose going to air cleaner, left valve cover has pcv to carb vaccuum. Can I use pcv valve on right valve cover and T to the left side at carb, removing hose to air cleaner? Never done this before. Just want to be sure it will work ok.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong. But the hose to under the air cleaner isn't that big of a deal. Neither of my two squares had it. I did have the PCV to carb line then the other had a breather vent in the valve cover. but I do not think you would want a T piece in the line that leads to your PCV as it kind of defeats the purpose of having a PCV in the first place.

Basically as one pulls the other allows more air to be brought in.

So, getting a breather vent would be good enough?

Yep, there are lot of them. Just make sure its the right size, and depending on your valve covers gotta make sure it has the proper sized rubber ring to fit into the cover and then the breather into the rubber ring. Then cap the hole in your air cleaner pan.

I believe doing it this way will vent the gasses into the air instead of cycling them back into your intake to be burned. It may effect your emissions if you have to go through any kind of emissions inspection/testing.

edit: forgot to mention with this setup since I do not have an oil filler neck. I pull the breather and grommet from the cover and to fill my oil.
