Reverse lights stay on no matter what gear/gear selector the transmission is in.

I have a feeling its a switch somewhere and I would like to know where this is located....

For now I have removed the light bulbs for the reverse lights.....

Most likely the switch at the base of your steering column. IIRC, that is also the Park/Neutral Safety Switch. I think I'd start right there. It's like a half moon over the top of the steering column under the dash close to the firewall.

Wow that's the first I heard of those staying on.

My m1028 reverse lights stay on all the time. I just shut off the service lights. Need to replace the reverse light switch, but since I never drive it, it's not high on list of things to do.
