Hello, does anyone know if a reproduction turn signal lever is available for 78 C10? No tilt. I just got one from LM* and it's an off the shelf generic lever with a plastic knob with shiny end cap that is far from original looking. I'm sure it will work but wondering if there is something closer out there, I've search and came up with nothing. Thanks.

Thanks! That looks original, can't believe I missed that especially since I've bought from them before.

But I have heard that shipping times can be atrocious...

I've heard that as well. I'm a long way from actually needing it since my truck is in a zillion pieces so that'll be ok. I'll just order it along with some other things.

Why buy a repro when you can get a GM part?

Part number 3990866. There are several on eBay for a decent price.

I am not super happy with LMC. They don't tell you when something is completely different than you expect. I bought tank insulators for my fuel tanks and they sent me scraps of roofing felt. I was not happy with a couple other things too. I have been happy with other things. It is hit or miss.

I hear ya, I worked outside in the weather for years. My shop is 30x30 so it's a tight fit with this truck tore down in here, hard to walk without tripping on something, ha.

The body shop that did my truck was having major issues with LMC exterior door handles with them not being able to be unlocked after being locked. A customer got stranded because he couldn't get back in his truck after locking it. So they ordered more LMC replacements, checked for lock/unlock ability, same thing happened, and fix was to do something to the rods.

I've heard that before and remember seeing that about the roofing felt somewhere on here before, after seeing that I bought a roll of roofing felt just for a few strips for about 22 bux. I bought a few things in the past from them expecting reproduction oem and received "help" products off the shelf. But an another note I have got some pretty good looking parts from them also, like brake pedal pad, and other items.

Good to know, I haven't ordered handles yet.

Thanks, I didn't see OEM and didn't know the part number.

Like I said, LMC is hit or miss. I wish they had a review for each part so you can read the comments. I bought some repro handles off Amazon. They look good next to my pitted originals but I have not tried them in a door yet. If they are crap I will hunt down some NOS ones and pay the premium.
