Replacement Proportioning Valve help

Hi team,

I sprang a slow leak from a top brake line fitting on my prop valve, mended in a new fitting, but now I am leaking from what I believe is the reset on the prop valve (I'm pretty sure that was not the original leak). I was trying to find a replacement valve but realize that they are not easy to locate. are there rebuild kits available? O rings and such, or can someone point me in the direction of a replacement prop valve?

You could couple the rear connections and tee the front, and put in an adjustable aftermarket prop valve, Jegs sells them for less than $30. If you're dead-set on OEM you may have to look on Rockauto.

Thanks for the idea, I checked rock auto, they don't have it, it seems a replacement is not available, like it would be for a caliper or master cyl.

Edit- I found one from carolina custom in the link below re: prop valves, I guess I'll grab that one unless it's possibly just an O ring issue, what do you think?

I have one of those valves I could send to You,got it off of a pickup I was scrapping before the guy hauled it off to the recyclers.I could`nt guarantee it though.when I took it off it was dry so I do`nt think it would leak.

Thanks for the offer, but, I have one on the way. They do seem worth hanging on to in the spare parts box, it's not the easiest part to get.

A kid was helping Me to get the differentials from a pickup that was going to be going in for scrap and He needed some brake parts for His pickup so We pulled that valve,it turned out that someone had installed a master cyl. for vac. brake boost when He had the hydro boost so that is why I have that valve.
I havent seen many of those valves go bad,maby one in my career so they must have been put together right from the factory.
