hey guys,
so i rebuilt my 355 this past winter. it was my first complete rebuild but i did it the right way, total macheine work ffrom top to bottom, its a 355 with flat tops, 882 heads, comp cam max lift 444 and stock compression. The truck hasnt been drivin, i cant drive it in my area and have no where to take it to drive soo just idel time no miles.

It sounds like it has a slight miss in the drivers side, u can here it in the exuahst and when u pull wires when in runs they all change BUT #3. its getting spark.

I have to do a compression test, but its all 100% brand new!!!!! im scared ill have to rip it apart again.

What could this posslily be?
What should my compreesion be?
again its only #3 and its a slight miss, not like u gota broken plug or anything, when u rev it ,it chugs like a small miss.

help please?

I had an issues like that once, it was a bad cap.... for some reason 2 of them died in less then 200 miles. Got a different cap and the problem went away so far.

Agreed, new parts can easily be bad.

That is exactly what I was thinking. If the vavle is adjusted to tight, its letting a valve stay open and the cylinder is not building compression.
