Rear drum adjustment question

I'm trying to get my rear drums off and the SOBs are stuck on there. I've taken a bfh to it already. I adjusted one side both directions (other side is seized), but I don't know which direction loosens and which one tightens the shoes. Do I need to spin the adjuster up or down?

Bolt the wheels on the studs loosely and slam on the brakes going slow, do it multiple times.

Looking from behind the backing plate, you want to roll the star adjuster wheel down.

My reasoning is like this: The left side adjuster is normally threaded (i.e. right hand). So to decrease it's overall length, you would rotate the star CW looking forward. That would be down - if working from behind the backing plate. Right - correct?

The RH adjuster is LH threaded so to decrease it's length it would be rotated CCW looking forward. That would also be downward when working from behind the backing plate.
