I saw these on Craigslist the other day and I’m very intrigued. Most people build their engines and put some Chevy logo valve covers on but I’m intrigued by these. They are really unique. Does anyone know anything about the history behind these and whether or not they are worth the 200$. These would be awesome on my truck! That is if one of y’all don’t get em first!

I don't think Chevy ever did these valve covers. The only "stand out" covers I ever saw were the finned Corvette covers and the chrome L79 covers, along with the later Corvette and Z-28 valve covers??

My 0.02 is they are way overpriced, $50 max IMO.

Now genuine Cal Custom finned covers or M/T finned covers are a different story.

But I think for most applications its hard to beat a nice painted set of stockers.

I agree with Lego 50 bucks is what is offer. The red paint on them is faded away and some missing.

If give him 50. Then polish the **** outta them and repaint the red. :naughty:

There is a set of bbc m/t covers that I have. Traded the sbc set years ago. Don't have a big block any more so this one's going away soon.
