There was a 87 K30 rclb that the guy was all goo goo over because it was a 454 and all original and he wanted 10 grand and guess what three years later he still has it lol.

Knowing how easy it is to swap out a speedometer, roll back a speedometer, or unhook the cable, I wouldn't give him 1/2 of what he's asking. He would have to have every maintenance receipt from '77 to today for it to be believable and even then you still cant be sure. 21k miles over 35 years averages out to only 600 mile a year. I bet a dollar to a donut the speedo dont work right now.

I would agree about questioning the legitimacy of the mileage without detailed documentation. Nonetheless that is a VERY solid looking truck and would be a gem to have if the price wasn't so high. I can think of a million other things to spend $20k on other than that and I really want a CC square also

Still a 77, He's asking for more than what it went for new....I would offer 6k for something like that.
You also need to consider all of the things that will need to be fixed because it sat for so long, especially if you really start driving it. sitting is BAD.
