I used the other part of the fuel schematic to do a diagnostic test. I probed the pink wire with the pink/black and got it to light the test light. So that mean the dash switch is getting power. It said to probe the lt green and dk green and light should light in both positions... the test light didn't come on with either position of the dash switch! But it does light if I ground one side of test light and probe lt green wire. It lights when I press fully for RH tank but nothing on LH tank???

Here is the diagnostic..

ok all this is at dash switch....

ground to power gets light
ground to lt green and pressing RH gets light
power to dk green and pressing LH gets light
lt green to dk green and pressing either gets nothing

this is at selector valve...
ground to pink power is a dim light
unplugging harness from selector valve causes gauge to peg beyond FULL
and I am unable to press dash switch while probing lt green/dk green because I am not stretch armstrong..
someone has messed with the harness before because release clip is broken at the selector valve
