Anyone ever had to raise their ac compressor to clear valve covers, the motor is a 350 out of a 96-2000, and the compressor is on top driver side an HT6. Seems like Im going to add 1" spacers to clear

Is it just the compressor in the way or the bracket itself? If you raise the compressor, make sure the spacers are very thick, not just some steel tubes or similar.

The compressor is hitting and also the bracket someone had already cut one bolt hole on right rear bolt so only three bolts will be holding compressor down

So the motor is a Vortec 350 from 96-00, which accessory brackets are you using?
If your using the Vortec brackets everything should fit with no cutting. The factory center bolt covers fit the brackets just fine.

The factory valve covers must not be in use. Must be some taller ones.
