Hello, what vintage is this style of radio connector and does someone sell an adapter between this style and the three 4-pin connector setup?

That looks like the earlier GM radio connector used in the mid-80s trucks. A lot of people just repin it or use an aftermarket harness adapter when switching to the later 3x4 plug style. You might find an adapter from companies like Metra.

At some point in the late 70's, GM started using a modular connector design that carried all the way through '88, and later on some vehicles.

I'm wanting to say that connector in the picture is pre '78.

That looks like atleast 2 different plugs, possibly 3. If the schematic isn't stamped on the radio body, then you should be able to look it up in a manual. They're all pretty basic, 2 or 4 speaker outputs, a ground, power, illumination circuit & a memory wire on electronic radios only. I can see it's stamped on the housing(schematic). My '87, both the electronic tune, and the manual tune am/fm/cassette units have 3 seperate plugs, they're not one big plug.

What Snoots posted, is 100% what I have with the bottom 2-wire plug being the memory circuit for the electronic tune radio. That pair does NOT plug into the radio, just into a pigtail coming off of it.
