I thought so. Especially when he isn't even selling a product, just sitting on a CAD file lol.

And, I know perfectly well, 99% of people who download my file will never do anything with it either... But, 1% will, and that may be all that was holding them back from doing something cool.

Last night I printed a trial, mainly to check that I got the angles, locations, etc correct. Whenever I get that right, I'll proceed from there.

Test fit, nailed it, so good to go with a real design.

Amazing the amount of weiners who just can't wait to ignore the words test fit and start yammering about laminar flow to show everyone how clever they are.

Mr 2k per download was inspired to release his files open source, which is nice, because the Holley lid pattern is the piece of the puzzle I was missing.

So I'll have two, maybe three sets of runners, an 8.1, an 8.8, and perhaps an 8.8 with injector bungs.

Then squeeze the runners together so they fit within the Holley footprint, instead of hanging over like these do, and make the plenum bolt together fore/aft as well as the bolt on runners.

Ready to pull this front clip and drivetrain when I get back from Arkansas.

Probably be on C10 tear down next weekend, would like the drivetrain up for sale before everyone blows their tax returns on someone elses junk. I need to redistribute that wealth my way.

Crank reluctor showed up today, oil pan is here too.

Should be able to assemble a shortblock this weekend.

Of all the stupid things to be stuck on, I can't get the cam out, because I can't get the crank pulley off lol.

Thinking I'll have to modify my Chrysler/LS three jaw deal as my best bet.

Haven't really decided on an order of operations here, but currently leaning towards having this drop in ready before I pull the 6.0

I think there's also a trick using a longer crank pulley bolt that is longer? I wanna say LT1 but not positive.

All I can remember is I've got a longer bolt for the crank. I can't remember if it's for install or removal. I'll dig around my posts and youtube and see if it will help.

[edit] bah.....was used for installation as seen in video below. Sorry I couldn't help with removal.

I got it, needed the LS/Chrysler style puller and a little grinding on the tabs.
