Which mod are you referring to?
What year truck do you have?
Did it come originally with power windows?

I'm referring to the dual relay mod that aids the window in going up and down in a faster motion using relays to pull power from the battery so it doesn't pull it through the switch. my truck is a 86 Silverado and came factory with power windows

That was temporary for test purposes. It all got soldered and sealed up with heat shrink, and not the black stuff either. The clear with glue. The diodes got wrapped in fiberglass tape and rubber tape.

No high voltage bugging tape. It’s for insulating motor lead connections.

Ok. Haven't used it, but I'll give it a shot in the future. I like the vulcanizing tape since you can put it on, even after it gets wet. (Like in the rain...) Dry it off, stretch it, and it still sticks to itself.

That’s what this pretty much is. It’s not sticky, but it’s stretchy and sticks to itself.
