painting grill on 82

i have noticed a lot of painted grills. just wondering how hard it is . what paint to use. has any one done this successfuly. any suggestions.thanks

I painted mine with Duplicolor Black then Duplicolor Crystal Clear. You realy have to sand it good with a scotchbrite pad and clean it good afterwards to make it last. Road rash will still get to it after a while so you will also have to touch it up once in a while.

Yep, scuff it real good and clean it well. I like to use Rustoleum though.
