Paddle / Camper special mirror gasket and glass replacement

Hi. I have a set of Camper Special Mirror frames, that are just empty shells, that im trying to fix. No glass, no rubber gasket.
Ive never changed out this style of mirror.
where can you get the rubber gasket and the glass? What is that gasket even called? I cant find it anywhere online.
Also, how do you change it out?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I know on our 78 shop truck, the rectangular mirror got smacked and it knocked the glass loose. We had a glass company down the street, and they were a customer at our parts store. They were able to cut a new mirror using the gasket as a pattern, and it fit perfectly.

You may be able to get a new glass cut for it, if you have the housing...if you can find a glass shop.

I don't have an actual picture of mine, i could get one tomorrow though.

Life's just been very hectic and very busy. Lot going on, been in a weird head space. All is well, just trying to get back into the swing of things. Good to check back in for a bit.

Around these parts we call those west coast mirrors. I don't know why...

Bus cheap aftermarket tow mirrors, butcher them and use the glass plus gasket in the original mirrors.
Mirrors on ebay are 30$.
This only works if the mirrors are the same for the glass but the gasket could be used.
Worth a try for 30$ and we all would know if the mirrors are the same size.

I changed my mirror glasses in summer, got them here and the fit was perfect. I have the rubber part and could reuse it.
