No sound to speakers debugging

Any good radio debugging threads? I can hear the speakers do something when I turn the radio on but either no signal in or something is wrong with the speakers.

Trying to figure out if the speakers are good before pulling the gauge bezel again since it's so flimsy already

Are they factory mounted speakers? Aftermarket ones the PO could have done a bad install and they could be grounding out. Do you have a tape deck and speakers don't work with that also?

1st thing I would do is look up under the dash and make sure the speakers are connected to the deck. Check the antenna plug as well. I would unplug and plug in the connectors. Call it the Fat Electron Theory if it starts working.
