Newb looking for valuations

I'm new here and, I'll be honest, I'm really only joining to research value on a truck that a friend is trying to sell. It belonged to her longtime partner who recently passed away. She's somewhat overwhelmed with everything that has happened and I told her I'd try to help with valuation of the truck. The prices she's been getting from tire kickers are all over the place! One person is definitely trying to steal it, another one says they'll pay some exorbitant amount but never actually shows up, I'm sure you can imagine how much fun it is. You all are much better versed in all of this, so I am here to pick y'alls collective brain. 1974 C10 with a long (8 foot?) stepside box, 350 2bbl 3-speed manual. I'll post pics when I'm able.

PS: The pic I chose for my avatar is another one of the vehicles she has! Pretty cool. I've seen plenty of Studebaker trucks but not one with a heavy duty chassis like this one.
