I'm looking at getting these locally this week for my 84 Sierra 2500. The guy says they came off of a 2001 Silverado and had them on his 64 K20. I'd just need to get new lug nuts. My center hole is 4-5/8" diameter and he's going to measure the center hole on them today. What's your thoughts? The price can't be beat.I need these to replace my stock wheels that are bent and have a hop in them. I'll eventually go back to original rims

Our older 8 lug wheels are lug centric, and as long as the bolt pattern is right they will fit. However, some newer wheels are hub centric, so they must have a center hole that fits exactly on the hub. I don’t know what type was used on a 2001 Silverado.

If the bolt pattern on those wheels matches your 84 Sierra 2500 and the center bore is the same or can be corrected with hub centric rings, they should work fine as a temporary replacement. You’ll just need the correct lug nuts for the wheel’s seat. Make sure to double‑check the center bore measurement when he measures it and confirm the offset/backspacing won’t cause rubbing. If all that checks out, they’re a good deal to replace your bent stock wheels until you go back to original rims.

Just be ready to fall in love with them… Once you get used to alloys and LT235/85r16 or LT265/75r16…

I run alloy fronts/outers, steel inners, 235/85 steers, 265/75 drives on a gmt400 dually. I’m switching it to all steels, 12 ply 7.50-16LT bias ply mudders all around. My Eagle Alloy bullet hole wheels are only rated to 60psi max. The tires to 85psi, run at 50psi gives me perfect contact patches on all 6 tires.

For the wheels you show? I’d go with a good looking LT235/85r15, D or E load rating, aggressive AT or milder MT. They will be a better “fit” if the truck is otherwise stock. Atlander Roverclaw has the right look, decent road manners, decent service life, still affordable. The old standby Armstrongs have bead issues now.
