New member from NC

Hey everyone new guy from western north carolina. I'm the owner of a 1979 K10 4x4 stepside conversion truck my dad bought new. He passed it down to me in 2006 when I got my drivers license was daily driven until 08 when I came across a good deal on a s10 xtreme which was extremely better on gas then the 79. But I still used it as a Tow rig/winter get me to work vehicle. After being in my full time job for a couple years I purchased a 2007 Z71 crew cab LTZ silverado in 2010 and sadly parked my 79. Well this weekend I decided to get my 1st truck back out to get it back to its former glory mainly rust repair from the winters here overall not as bad as most that are still on the roads here. Here's a couple of pics after I got it running and cleaned up this past saturday enjoy.

I'm in Brevard. I'm usually in Marion when they have open ride at The Flats Off Road Park.

Thanks man! I actually work right beside the flats in the mcdowell county industrial park at Baldor Electric Company as a cnc machinist. Haha small world

thanks I appreciate it. The paint is all original it also has button tuck interior as it was built in 79 lol. The only things I did after dad gave it to me was upgrade the audio, install the Rough Country 4" lift with the wheels and 35s and tint the windows as any 16 yr old would do.

I think thats perfect man, upgrades here and there but leaving it looking original. I consider this one of my favorite trucks I have seen, way cool.
