Painting the wheels white and putting the hub caps on would make a drastic improvement, but the paint isn't original. The original was the 2 tone blue and this cheap ass paint job is horrible. They even painted over the molding and it ws flaking so I pulled molding off. I think this one is past compounds. It was a nasty $200 paint job at one time and was poorly prepped and poor quality paint. Still worth the $100 I paid for it with a blown Turbo 400 and a crate 454 with 30-40K miles on it. It runs great and all the bells and whistles work even the cruise control.

Oh yeah def worth it. Like you said, white wheels with the caps would make it look even better. Cruise control is the one thing that doesn't work on mine, my cousin broke the vacuum nipple off the pod while helping me pull the engine. I dont know where to find another one!

Improvise, McGyver it hoss. Get a vacuum tubing connector and force it in the hole and epoxy it.

My dad drove the truck a few days and tried that, I think he ended up epoxying the hole closed, or somethin like that. So it's screwed lol

Mine is supposed to have cruise on it but that got taken out and never replaced with the motor swap. So now I have a cruise button that does nothing! :) I should wire it up to run my garage door opener or something!

Actually you can wire the "set" button to a relay for the horn or your high beams. :High 5:

On the 77's there are no "set" buttons like they have in the later models. It's just one button at the end of the turn signal level to set your cruise unlike today's switches that have set, resume, accel, and decel :D

I'd put that button to use and put me a NOS fogger unit on that truck. Use that button to hit the giggly juice solenoids.
