First timer here, bout to drop my 350 in the only thing that's making me hesitate is not knowing if there are torque specs for the mount bolts. And I'm talking all of them. Frame to bracket, bracket to bracket and engine to bracket. Chilton doesn't say anything and the info seems non existent. Maybe this thread could clear the air for other people too. And should I replace the old bolts and nuts while I'm at it?

Welcome! Can't answer the first question, but as far as replacing the hardware I say "Why not?" It's not going to hurt, it can only give you peace of mind knowing the hardware is good.

I hate to be that guy, but personally I would just crank on them a good amount without breaking stuff of course. You can't really hurt anything.

Only reason to replace those would be if the threads were damaged or they had excessive corrosion. I've always used the German torque spec of goodentight myself.

At least it better gointight. If there's not an interference fit, then the part may be worn out. lol.

But have you heard of the basball bat in the trash can? It don't fill it but it can give the sides a workout!

I always heard it as the joke about being equipped like a tuna can, can't hit the bottom, but the sides will never be the same.

Wow! We totaly derailed this thread. In all seriousness if the hardware looks good reuse it. As far as torqe specs go I have never used any but a search for standard fastener torque values will suffice. Most are going to be 3/8-16 thread in the engine mount area.
