That's a tough one. Perhaps a long wheelbase van?

Are you looking for exact length, or one you can shorten?
one i can shorten. i was taking stuff off this weird hodge podge 99-01 extendo cab with a 4.3 and 2 pc driveshaft. i measured the shaft and it was like 78 or 82 i dont remember; approx 6" ish longer as expected when you swap a 80e in.

i WISH i wouldve just taken the 2 piece with me.

I'm no expert on it, but generally speaking, a steel shaft in the low 70-ish range is about max you can safely go.

I did stuff and ordered a hellcat fuel pump.

You might wondering why and thats because the walbro I put in supports 500 at the crank on E85. This motor definitely makes more than that on E85 so I got this 525. It will support 700whp on E85. Which is approx where my 60lb injectors also max out.

Theres no question of if E85 is going in. Its when.

In other news I picked up a belt today... 95.4375 (95 7/16) and it fits nicely.

So now i have belts on the truck.

I spent the day trying out my 60" zero turn mower i got recently and spent some time with the wife.

Tomorrow ill see what I can do.

Also picked up a holley USB cable adapter so I can actually connect the computer. My dumb self forgot to order one lol.
I am NOT using that annoying little screen in the glove box for testing

These things happen!

What also happened is, I have a parent-teacher meeting after work;
So i probably wont have time for playing with my truck til wed which is fine.

The usb cable arrives wed. I have battery lugs. Battery prepared. All the positives and negatives for this rig are ran to the battery tray in nice order.

I gotta think long and hard but I think all of the electrical is done and I just need to connect a battery, pull up the terminator and hptuners monitors, make sure all the basics work, test the inputs and outputs ,

Turn the key with no plugs, verify it has rpm and cam signal and oil pressure

If all checks out, we fill the tank with 93 and fire it up

Well I connected the battery and the instrument cluster immediately was doing weird stuff.

Some of my peripherals weren't acting right.

Honestly its acting like theres a short to ground somewhere. I didnt see any blown fuses immediately on the dash side, no smoke, no weird smells anywhere.

The holley doesnt want to kill the display immediately, so it seems like maybe power is discharging slowly thru a ground or back feeding possibly.

For what its worth the TPS registers, the MAT registers, and the CTS showed stuff. Fuel pump turns on.

Regardless Ill take everything off and start simple with just the truck and its own power with no pcms or peripherals and see if the shorts there.

The issue with buying bs off marketplace that dont run is, it couldve been a pile of chit before i got it... I contacted the PO last night snd asked if it had issues and they said no

I dont see how considering it started with a push button and turned off with a thumbwheel and wires were hanging everywhere at the column lol
No motor, no trans

Rest assured i'll fix it. Just gotta strip it down, which isnt a big deal surprisingly.

Couple bulkhead disconnects and eyelets and plugs and its back to the main truck standalone.

Battery is back off til i get a chance to dig in.

Won't dwell on this post long but I pulled the terminator entirely from the truck, all its peripherals I wired up , off.
All the power and ground wires; off.
No p59. No C2 modified vbb199 harness, no nothing. Just truck power and + / -.

Instrument cluster is freaking out hahahahahaha

So i gotta look into that. But im adding the c2 back in again because I at least had stuff lighting up on my cluster when that was powered.
