Well I connected the battery and the instrument cluster immediately was doing weird stuff.
Some of my peripherals weren't acting right.
Honestly its acting like theres a short to ground somewhere. I didnt see any blown fuses immediately on the dash side, no smoke, no weird smells anywhere.
The holley doesnt want to kill the display immediately, so it seems like maybe power is discharging slowly thru a ground or back feeding possibly.
For what its worth the TPS registers, the MAT registers, and the CTS showed stuff. Fuel pump turns on.
Regardless Ill take everything off and start simple with just the truck and its own power with no pcms or peripherals and see if the shorts there.
The issue with buying bs off marketplace that dont run is, it couldve been a pile of chit before i got it... I contacted the PO last night snd asked if it had issues and they said no
I dont see how considering it started with a push button and turned off with a thumbwheel and wires were hanging everywhere at the column lol
No motor, no trans
Rest assured i'll fix it. Just gotta strip it down, which isnt a big deal surprisingly.
Couple bulkhead disconnects and eyelets and plugs and its back to the main truck standalone.
Battery is back off til i get a chance to dig in.
