So yesterday I finally got the 502 I had off to a good home. A proper home.
Some guy with a 60s square chevelle hit me up last week asking if I wanted to trade him. He had a freshly built blown 5.3 with a whole chit ton of accessories for trade. He told me he didnt like how dinky it looked in his engine bay, which I can respect that in a classic. An LS under the hood of a classic is pretty .... yuck (sorry not sorry)
So he apparently got this motor with an s10 and it had a T56 behind it. Its all managed by a terminator X, and had liquid intercoolers, pumps, coolant reservoir, fuel cell, massive fuel pumps, wiring harnesses... EVERYTHING. I didnt expect all this stuff.
So I loaded the big block up yesterday morning and me and my buddy drove down to SC and delivered it.
We inspected the LS... pulled valve covers to check out the alleged 1218s and chromoly pushrods, all checked out. I bore scoped pistons and they were still shiny in the holes, they were the advertised coated, forged 1200hp pistons. We pulled the oil pan and the rods were in fact H beam rods also good for 1200hp.
706 heads which i thought to be sortof lame for a supercharged build but at the same time I dont really care. Its a new motor.
M122 blower on top, which I believe is from a cobra. 80lb injectors, it did have the correct non projected boost plugs, and the pan even had the break in goop in it still. Which he said he did run it a few times but that was it.
Its managed by a holley terminator X... its alot. 102mm throttle body lol
Ill attach all the pics i took
