Last year i managed to score a period correct Lund Visor off eBay. It came off a baby blue 1974 c10 short bed.
I’ve always loved these on square body trucks so I pulled the trigger and paid $300 bucks for it.
I’m curious how most people have installed theirs, most importantly doing it in a fashion that doesn’t cause damage to the truck.
My idea was to use nutserts with ether stainless or titanium hardware to they don’t rust and look like dog **** after 3 months in the weather. Was also thinking of using a sealing adhesive when bolting it to the truck so I could stop any water migration into the came creating rust.
Really looking for insight and tried and true ways of installing this rad piece!
