I lowered my 81 but i'm not liking the back as much have drop spindles on front i think it looks good. i want to lower the back but i already have shackles on back. Question do i need to put stock shackles back on and lower with flip kit? Will the back be lower than the front? Sorry i've never lowered one so thats why i have so many questions. Here are some pics.

It appears you did the drop hangers and shackles for the rear which is a 4in drop. A flip kit with stock hangers and shackles is 5in. Adding the drop shackle to the flip kit is a 7in drop.

I know it's not my truck, but I like it with a slight rake toward the front like that.
