I'm thinking about getting a set of long tube headers for my 87. I've heard however that there can be issues with certain ones hitting stuff underneath. Does anybody know which ones hit and which ones don't?

I have headmans on my 78, and nothing hits. Even without the 2" lift I don't think anything would hit. I know different year and lift so I don't know how helpfull it is.

I've ran Hooker, Flowtech, and two different kinds of Hedman's. They all cleared pretty well, but one version of Hedman does tend to hit the shackle bolts. With some careful bending they clear OK. That particular header is very easy to install, the other type of Hedman's tuck very very nicely, but they are a pain to install.

I'm leaning towards a set of hookers from Summit Racing.
