Found shims in the front end a few weeks ago under my 4" Rancho springs (RS6206). Apparently these are not needed, unless you are running FT 4WD.
So they are comming out, and figured since the springs would be down, throw in some Ez Inch blocks and do F250 shock mounts & ext travel shocks
Front currently has a dual Rancho set up (RS999118 X4) which is appropiate for the lift. Even though they are adjustable, Im just not down with duals and want a bit more travel.
Rear has duals also, sort of. I have RS999028's in the OE mounts and RS5404 mounted on top of the spring plate going to the frame.
What I learned is that the "kicker" shock PN's are actually the same as our steering stabilizers (will fit some Dodges as well).
The RS999028's are 11.25" travel shocks (28.125" ext - 16.875 closed). Hell, I was wanting to do inboard in the rear, now I dont need to buy new shocks, may not even need the inboard mount?
Back to the front and the F250 mounts, I could just buy a second set of the RS999028 and have 11.25" up front right too?
Sell the dual front kit and 1 kicker/stabilizer; and keep the other kicker/stabilizer for me....I need a new one any way.
Depending on cost of the RS999028s and what I would get for the front dual kit/stabilizer the swap would be rather inexpensive.
Final product will have 4" springs 1" EZ blocks up front. Working towards 4" shackle flip 1" EZ block rear and 11" travel.
As if I dont have enough crap already on my plate....painting my top-scored some AC ducting vents on CL-dreaming about that 400-selling a 10bolt carrier w/locker, now this project..
