So I have a 1981 K10 5.0L with a NP208 and TH350. It' leaking from the adapter plate. I've replaced the transfer to adapter seal with no luck of stopping the leak. Also the case itself ls leaking from two seams Ive been told that the transmission and transfer feed each other. is that correct?

No. they do not feed each other. You've got more than the mating gasket leaking.

It looks like you have a spacer plate on an adapter that is made to go into vehicles that originally had a 700R4 (that or you are runnning a 2wd trans with a longer output shaft). Either way that middle block between the adapter and the transmission should have a large flat o-ring on the inside of the mating surface there, most likely one on each side of that block. If you replaced both of those o-rings and it is still leaking then 'm not sure what it could be, but if you didn't then there is the problem perhaps.

Awesome thanks guys. I'll replace both rings on that block spacer along with the output seal on the tranny.

Yep, the catch 22 on the Tcase output seal is that might be an indicator that it's due for a rebuilt. There's not much any other thing than movement that will cause it to leak, unless someone got in there with a pick or something sharp and did some tom dickery....
