hey fallas, I just bought a rear leaf spring bushing set from lmc.
I have the old bushings out but the steel bushing is still in the spring.
MY questions are, do I need to use the steel bushings? and What is the easiest way to get them together?

good god man, hammer and chisel!!!

Tried the hammer and chisel approach; holy shmoly, ended up using a sawsall
and cutting a section out. Got all the new bushings in in about 2 hours,
and 1 more hour with 106 degree temperature and hammer and chisel.
But I gotter done.
