I think it's for a Spectrum, but probably the same results.

I don't recall exactly, but they may be the same basic car. I don't remember which one came first or if the years overlapped. Pretty sure the Sprint was replaced by the Metro though. Kind of remember a sporty, turbo Sprint too.

I've got about 500 lbs worth of Kent Moore tools. I started the process of trying to identify what they are used for. So far, I've only found the application for I think of the 4 of the 10 that I've tried to look up. Still got a long way to go.
Are they going up for sale?

Not sure on some of it. A lot of it is stuff that I can use, so it will be kept. A large majority of it is stuff I'll never use (partly because their uses will never be identified, lol) but likely doesn't have much value.

Hmmm, vanishing post.

Let me try again:

You must be registered for see images attach

That must be a fixture that aquired more uses over the years. The tool itself is labeled as a diff carrier fixture, which I take that as being for drop-out style center chunks. Then that catalog on pdf called it a transmission fixture. But your catalog lists it as a housing fixture.

I have tried from the other direction - ie. when looking to complete a job, I look through the GM assembly or maintenance manual. They tend to list what factory tools are required. Then, if I need something special, I try and find it through Google images and / or C/L or Ebay. for example bought a Kent Moore transmission holder for working on turbo 350 / 400's. Made up a bushing so it can be fitted into a regular engine stand. Works great.

No tools lying around here or coming up for sale on FB etc., so just look for / purchase specific tools when they are needed ( LS1 Crank bearing saddle remover etc. ). Sometimes a factory tool can make an impossible job a breeze ...
