Just got done with the 2nd round of chrome engine parts ordering. As some of you may already know I already ordered some from streetsideauto about a month or so ago.

A mr. gasket competition air cleaner, 9790
http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/mr-gasket-competition-9790/

which has a 2 inch drop base and I can't use it with my tbi, so I have to order a new raised base, which will be in round 3 soon to come.

I also ordered my chrome centerbolt valve covers, spectre 5260
http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/spectre-valve-cover-set-5260/

I bought a nice bowtie oil fill cap from proform/gmpp @ advance for them, but someone forgot to mention the oil fill for those covers is screw in like stock. However if you buy those covers in a kit from summit it has a push in oil fill, but the one hole is bigger, they are listed to be all 1.25 and one is 1-3/8, not 1-1/4. So I had to take back my nice oil fill cap and breather and order new ones. One is in this round, round 2, and the other will be in round 3.

Then I got a chrome PS dipstick as well, spectre 1798
http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/spectre-power-steering-dipstick-1798/

The cap aint round like that either, it's more flower like shaped, like the stock oil fill cap in the valve covers. So it'll match the oil fill cap I just ordered, which starts round 2.....

oil fill cap that matches the PS dipstick, spectre 4320
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BQ086Y/ref=oss_product

I need valve cover gormmets too, spectre 5333
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00062ZIAE/ref=oss_product

I decided to get a chrome pcv instead of stock, just to match the breather, plus I like these style pcv's. spectre 4284
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00062ZCZK/ref=oss_product

Also want to see if my block is completely drilled for mech. FP so I got me a block off plate to replace the stock, comes with bolts and gasket, but I have a gasket in case it doesn't. spectre 42463
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BPURBQ/ref=oss_product

Now round 3 I'll continue as soon as I place the order with summit, should be soon.

I get reminded everyday why I like this place best. I shared this with my gmt400 buddies on gmt400 and some dick decided to call it rice. **** him, had problems with him before and his bedlined POS.

I hate dbags like that!! It's your truck so what makes him think YOU care what the heck he thinks? You build your truck how you like it dude. We don't all have the same tastes and that's a good thing.....

yea no doubt. he said he was joking lol, said calm down I was only giving you chit. I gave it right back though. But then I changed it to a lighter mod so as not to bash.

I did have iussues with him before or something, I forget what it was though.

can't wait to get this stuff in now and put it on. I think at the same time I'm gonna yank the fenders and inners and clean/paint everything with rustoleum gloss black. The cheap spray cans I used when I had the motor out, doesn't look so good now.
