I just picked up some parts, and one part was a front valance with stainless trim. Is this a factory item and if so what years? I'm not sure if I'll use it or not but I thought it was pretty cool.

1979-1980. That specific filler panel is from a 1979 or 1980 non V22 truck. The V22 1980s (squircle headlights) use a different filler panel.

RPO v22 is the uplevel grille (square headlight) in 1980.

You’ll need the 79-80 bezels to make it look and fit correctly. I’ve never tried, but I don’t think 73-78 bezels will sit flat using the 79-80 trim due to the shape difference.
