‘88 GMC Suburban 350 TBI 700r4 2WD
Fuel pump went out last summer, replaced distributor, cap and rotor and fuel pump- ran great. A few weeks later heater core went out, few weeks after that water pump failed- replaced pump, alternator (broke mounting bolt couldn’t be removed) and radiator. Ever since then, after going on a decent drive 15-30 minutes, shut it off and go in to a store for ten minutes, when I start It up again it will either stall or drop way down in rpm then pop back up. I’ve replaced TPS, IAC, PCV, EGR Valve, MAP sensor and water temp sending unit. I’m at a loss. I have noticed that when it has stalled all the way the TBI still pumps gas through the injectors unless I shut The key off. Any other ideas?
