Are the intakes for a TBI and a carb interchangable? There's a good deal on an intake, but it's for a carb. Will my tbi bolt onto it? I can't find anything about bolt patterns and fitment, and I don't wanna waste my money if I can't put my tbi on it

The angle is different on the four center bolt holes, and they'd have to be ground with a dremel to match the heads. I don't know what the angle specs are, but I'm sure you could find something definitive on the internet. You'd also need a carb-TBI adapter. Is this an aftermarket intake, or are you just looking for a factory intake? The factory TBI intakes aren't worth very much and shouldn't be that bad to find.

Last time I modified the center bolt holes on an intake to match the later heads, I just hogged them out a little at a time and kept setting the intake down on the engine to check the progress. If you can set it down on the block and thread the bolts in, there will be plenty of wiggle room once the gaskets are installed.
