Nice. I like the SKs...

The fleamarkets here don't have jack....I do like to pick through the pawn shops though, I can get 4-6 sockets for a buck.

I couldnt believe I found that armstrong and kobalt/snapon socket too. Things are probably cheaper over your way compared to here. One reason I live 3 hours from DC metro area. Cost of living sky rocketed when people found out how cheap the housing was and decided to drive from here to DC for the same amount of pay.

The fleamarkets here have lots of tools just gotta watch the prices. There was guy selling good brand name stuff like snapon, armstrong, etc. He had 3 combination wrenches by armstrong but he wanted 8-12 bucks for wrench.

Apex tool group makes the Crescent tools. They also make Armstrong, some gearwrench, some K-D. Generally made the USA.

Pittsburgh is sold by Harbor Freight, not sure who the parent company is, I think it may be Great Neck, but I could be wrong there. Made in Taiwan and China.

Are the crescent sockets worth getting from a fleamarket?

If you can get them cheap enough.

I probably have the most eclectic collection of working sockets in the state...

Hey, if they work, then go with them I say.

The most I've paid for sockets are $4 each, that was my 2 sets of Snap On 1/2 drive. The rest have been 10-50 cents each and that's for SO, Cornwell, Wright, USA Mac, Matco, ect.

I didn't get a chance to get to the PO today, but some time this week (I hope) I will.

The proswing metric wrenches are made in the USA.

The SAE set is made in Taiwan and are exactly the same as GearWrench.
