Welcome, buddy. If you have any specific questions, the forums and sub-forums are pretty comprehensive, and there are plenty of smart guys on here that know their stuff.

Thank you one thing I could do with knowing is are the bodies physically different between the models? Like will interior and exterior trim and panels off say a c10 fit? Or are they massively different? I know the chassis are different but not seen a c10 in a while? Also what are the best websites for parts?

From your photos, that actually appears to be a D30, which is a military version of the K30. The tow points in the front bumper give it away. You're missing the brush guard though. The bodies are basically the same, the only major differences I can recall at the moment, would be the shape of the floorpans on the 2wd automatics.

With your truck, anything from a 1981-87 C-truck or K-truck (R/V for '87 instead of C/K) is universal in terms of interior parts and components on the outside, minus the grille. The different grilles of the aforementioned years will still fit if they have single headlights like yours, but there are different styles of grilles. Stateside, RockAuto is a great place to find a lot of maintenance type parts. Auto Metal Direct is a good place for body parts, and Classic Parts is in good standing with forum members for square body specific interior and exterior parts like decals and smaller stuff like that. 1A Auto has all the seals, and they probably have instructional videos for them on YouTube. LMC Truck is also out there, but they're a mixed bag in terms of quality and fit/finish. I don't know about overseas shipping constraints with these various companies, but I'm sure that info is readily available.

I know Hillbilly Wizard sells the brush guards if OP is interested in replacing.

Thanks that's really helped! By brush guard I would assume you mean what we'd call bull bars lol! On the front bumper? Weight is the biggest problem I'm going to have with shipping to the UK but smaller part shouldn't be much of an issue unless any friendly people on here are heading across the pond? So is it just the military ones that are 24volt?

Welcome! Was stationed in the Huntington area in the early 90's. Really enjoyed my time there.

Yes. the military versions were the only ones equipped with the 24 volt starting and charging system. Since yours is a military version, you might check around over there for any other surplus parts that may have been in use by the armed forces.
