Help - K-20 won't break

While it slowly rusts away and gets dented tail to snout this truck keeps running. What is wrong with it? The engine cranks every time, the transmission shifts just right. I don't understand. Should I buy a Ford?

That's what I did with my old one but it didn't get stuck enough. Sold it for... $4,000. Ouch.
