So that’s telling me to just plug it because this no longer has an electric choke. Thanks

Did you get the choke working? Your switch if it is leaking may not work anymore.

What years had that? Looks like a perfect way to turn whatever on and off, such as elec.fuel pump or cooling fan. Thinking I need one sitting in my toolbox.I am assuming it's 1/8 27 npt?

The port on the top of the block behind the distributor is 1/8 NPT. The port on the side of the block by the oil filter is 1/4 NPT.

I’m waiting on some parts, previous owner zip tied the choke open. I’m going to try and put a manual set up on it, I’m not to worried about an electric choke. I’m not sure how long it’s been like that any other issues you guys think I should look for running the choke open.

Lots of years. A review, my '74 has a thermal divorced choke. My '82 like @Copper Jr 's '86, both were built with an electric choke. GM cars, which got upgrades before trucks, such as 1975 Corvette, had an electric choke.

Apparently they were not all wired the same. Here is the switch, PS64:

Dont "plug it off" and quit listening to that guy, he doesn't know wtf he is talking about.

Not even a little bit.

Good way to create a no-start $10 fix.
Gotta be careful choosing sources on the internet, lots of these guys are QUICK. to start throwing parts at JUNK.

Many lack experience but we cant stop em from spewing ********.

-Oh it's all set?
Got here just in time. ;)

I would go ahead and change the other one too and forget about it. It wont be far behind failure, it sees the same oil.

Keep on truckin.
This msb has a real handy ignore function, i'll add him.
Thanks! :waytogo:

Okay I think I found it I think it is standard ignition. PS144 I think that is going to be 1/4 npt 2 prong oil pressure switch to control choke circuit. Can anyone confirm?
