Hey guys just joined and wanted to share. We have been working on the engine for awhile and just got the truck in the garage.

1985 C10 short box. Will soon be powered by a 5.3 LS1 and a TH400 trans. Power adder will be 78mm on3 performance turbo and later on a wet shot.

I am running a 5.3 with twin 68 mm turbos and a th400 if you have any questions just ask and I will try and help. 1st is get a flex plate for a 6.0 it will bolt to the 5.3 and don't need any adaptors for the converter it will bolt right up

I'm confused on this and glad someone knows. So with my 99 ls1 the stock 6.0 flex plate will bolt right to the crank and torque converter?

To be quite honest I don't know lol. They are nice tires but they are showing signs of dry rot.

yes a 6.0 flex plate will bolt right to the crank and the th400 torque converter will bolt right up to it. flex plate for a 6.0with a 4l80 trans

and by the way you don't have enough tire on the back I am running 31x18.50 / 15 mickey Thompson a 342 rear gear posi 6 lbs of boost and at 60 jump on it and drop back to 2nd it will brake lose and go up in smoke and use up a lot of the road . 6 lbs boost 80lbs injectors and all stock heads came and lower end = 560 whp if I go with a ls3 cam springs and rockers it should take 10-12 lbs of boost and be around 750 whp. so have fun with it . do you have the ecm and harness fo it and if so are you doing the standalone harness yourself???

My mods this far are stock heads ported, swirl polished combustion chambers, jegs pushrods, dual coil valve springs and titanium keepers, arp head studs, multilayer steel Victor reinz head gaskets, ls1 camaro intake manifold, 80lb/min injectors, rails, speed density tune with egr delete, rear o2 delete, antitheft delete, emissions delete, 78mm on 3 performance turbo charger, tial 44mm wastegate, fuel setup is undecided at this point, TH400 with future trans brake and that's about it so far, oh ya and a AEM wide band setup.
