Hey,

I just purchased my first square body (1976) and parts of it are giving me a run for my money but I’m already enjoying it.

I am from Oregon and am somewhat familiar with older gm automobiles but have never had a “vintage” pickup so I figured this would be the best place for info, ideas etc.
Looking forward to reading through the threads.

That color combo on the front is Willow Green for the darker metallic green (kind of army green) and Willoway Green for the lighter mint green color. My Dad's 75 Sierra Classic was two tone with Willoway Green and white. He was going to redo the white to Willow Green, but never did. That would've been opposite of the factory available combo, and yours is the factory combo. The different greens on the bed are colors from other years or more likely, quickie repaints. That bench seat in the bed, is the original one; I remember that seat! I was definitely a Daddy's Girl and rode with him in this truck a LOT. The dash pad should be a dark green instead of the brown one.

I definitely dig the greens. My friend had a truck just liked it. Custom grille too. Was named the "Green hooker" a list of every variation of small block besides 302 was written on glove box for replacement notes. Had 3 different 350s alone and one of everything els except 302. We put a boat built big block 454 found in an 84 suburban and it was amazing. Idle smooth and still smoke 40s from astand still/ going 55 dumping clutch in 3rd Goin sideways kinda power and decent milage too. I wish I knew what cam it had in it.
