heat blows all the time!

i have a 1985 chevy k10 sliverado 4x4. when i bought the truck about two years ago the guy had taken out the ac. i still have the parts to put it back in but havent gotten around to it. however for some reason the truck blows hot all the time! i have every thing off and it blows very hot air through the vents when i have it off. it only does it when the truck gets up to normal temp. i cant find the problem! i cant deal with it any more lol! i just need to know how to fix please help!!!

Your temperature blend door may be stuck or the cable may be broken. Does the blower motor stay on all the time?

yeah the blower is on all the time

Your blower motor relay isn't working is what I'm guessing it only blows on high all the time right?

yeah its pushing air through really quick

It's the resistor block I think that's the name of it I can't remember right now I'm blanking haha but if it goes out the fan defaults to high speed it's weird that it's on all the time though but that's where I would start

Replacing the blower resistor will most likely return your fan speed control to normal, but it will not reduce the temperature of the incoming air. Be sure the temperature control cable is properly connected to the blend door crank arm as shown in the images below:

Just changed the blower motor relay didn't fix the problem. Will try the cable and blower resister next.

How do I get to the temperature control cable?

Just look under the dash - near the glove box.
