3 trucks at the age of 19? Do you still live at home? My parents would have kicked me to the curb with my bags if I owned 3 trucks and still lived with them :roflbow: I did own 2 for a short period of time while living at home but that's all they could take and were glad to see one go!! :D

Those Cig lighter heaters are worthless too. I was considering one, then read the reviews. Very Poor.

I'm going with the TPI for sure...Maybe a 305. I have the ability to tune though it's OBD1 (have a Moates Ostrich from a Syclone) so setting it up for good MPGs won't be too hard. :)

For some of us dummies here, please, WTF is a Moates Ostrich? :/

^^^What he said. Gives the ability to tune OBD1 on the fly like OBD2. I don't currently have a way of burning PROM chips at the moment, but I'll get in on that action soon enough.

How long was the learning curve with self-tuning? I've considered buying my own equipment, but for the same money I can get a custom dyno tune from a guy that's a pro at it. I guess the issue is if I'll be making any additional power mods at a later date.

Edit: Btw Jake, drive whatever saves you some cash. I bought a '94 Accord wagon a few months back. I don't care what people think, it gets 35 mpg while my Suburban sits safe in the garage.

those of you freaking out about gas milage... its the holidays... price of gas goes up when people are going to be traveling alot. DUH.

and as for not being able to find a job... someone doesn't want to find a job.

been there, done that. i live in what was for a long time the area with the highest unemployment rate in the country... and not only did i find a job, i found 3 of them.

That may be, but it's a disturbing sign of future fuel prices when it was reported that the New Year's day fuel prices this year were the highest they've ever been.

Well, Big oil has to have their billion dollar a month profit so the higher ups can have their hundred million dollar bonuses.

What it comes down to is gas prices basically have no legislation and they line the pockets of not only the oil tycoons but the politicians (albeit behind the scenes). One thing you can always count on is gas will always rise in price over time...

what's BS is when price per barrel doesn't go up yet gas prices per gallon do. it happens all the time.

Greasedog could not be more correct on the gas prices and holidays, when one comes up or goes out they raise, when school comes in they go down and when school lets out they go up, summer vacation. it happens all the time, you can set your clock and watches for it.
