Well I've been here for a little while now, some might remember this tool.
Made a nice factory-looking indent for your gas tank filler tube and gas cap.

I knew that, but I couldn't remember.... Don't get old.
I keep hearing that, but my body keeps trudging along into ever-aging...lol...

The one on the left is a battery clamp puller, one in the middle is a valve spring compressor but does anybody know what that is on the right? There is no marking on it, it looks to be a quality tool. When the knob is twisted the arms only come together a little maybe moving 1/4” and the silver bar move down towards the tip.

That would be for pulling chain links together.
I have two different sizes of them.

I was told that and tried it on my 1972 Honda 500four and it doesn’t open enough. It is too wide for bicycle chains.

Let's see if we can do something challenging and educational that doesn't involve crayons.

Post a pic of an unusual or antique tool and see if the collective intelligence here can identify it's purpose. Maybe you can stump the crowd or finally figure out what that "thingamabob" in the bottom drawer is.

Here's one to get us started. Can anyone identify this?

Go for it. Last one I posted was a pipe cleaner. And I don't mean for plumbing.

You might want to do a quick scroll through the thread too. There's still a few unknowns you could have the answer to.
